Description DOSAGE AND INDICATION The usual recommended dose of aerius syrup for adults and children 12 years of age and older is 10 mL (5 mg) once daily. For children 6 to 11 years of age, the usual recommended dose is 5 mL (2.5 mg) once daily. For children 2 to 5 years of age, the usual recommended dose is 2.5 mL (1.25 mg) once daily. It may be taken with or without food. Children between 2 to 12 years of age should not take this medication for longer than 14 days unless recommended by a doctor. Many things can affect the dose of a medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
